Description
- Painting on Elements wood panels offers numerous advantages, including a smooth, stable surface, durability, and a unique aesthetic that cant be replicated with canvas. Whether you are using oils, acrylics, or mixed media, wood provides a solid foundation for your artwork.
Priming is optional, but when using oil paint it is recommended. Wood is an excellent surface for oil painting because it supports thick layers of paint and can withstand heavy brushstrokes. The oil paint will take longer to dry on wood, which can be beneficial for blending and glazing techniques.
Elements wood panels are ideal for a range of fine art and craft projects including pouring resin, and can be used on both sides.
- 3mm Quality basswood board.
- Solid pine wood frame.
- Sanded and unprimed.
- Deep set.
