Large Stretcher Bars

These wonderful stretchers are made from manufactured timber, which means they are incredibly strong and straight for their cross-section. They feature the “heart” system, a plastic insert at the joints. These in turn have a metal bolt which acts as the wedge. Turning this clockwise with an allen key gives up to 5 mm “stretch” in each direction.
